CHAD GERBER

Chad Gerber is a Gibson endorsed artist and inventor whose career has moved between music and emerging technology. His work spans 10 gold and platinum records, stages across the United States and Europe, film and television, and studio projects involving some of the world's most recognized artists and producers.

Originally from Montana, Gerber launched his music career at sixteen in Miami before relocating to Los Angeles. His career has taken him from the Vans Warped Tour to performing on A Prairie Home Companion, while his work as woodrowgerber pushed into electronic music, topping cyberwave and synthwave charts and reaching audiences well beyond the genre. As a guitarist, he has also worked on studio projects involving artists including David Guetta, Diplo, Martin Garrix, Alok, Cheat Codes, Kris Kross Amsterdam, Aloe Blacc, and others.

Gerber's move into technology came directly out of making music. Frustrated by the limitations of working remotely with other musicians, he started building the tools he wanted to use himself. That became Meloscene, a spatial computing platform that allows musicians and creatives to work together live inside immersive virtual environments.

He later co-founded ShadowGen and developed a new approach to voice communication that uses a fraction of the bandwidth required by conventional systems. What began as an early prototype has since moved into real-world defense testing, transmitting voice across severely constrained networks and demonstrating communication in conditions where conventional voice begins to fail.

Gerber has spoken on creativity, music, and technology at events from Washington, D.C. to São Paulo and has appeared on the BBC in London and other international media. His work has also led to patent-pending technologies spanning artificial intelligence, telecommunications, and emerging communication systems.
